Bug Hunt
This Is My Submission To The Fireside Jam 2025!
The theme was "Hunt", so I made a little game about putting bugs in to jars. There are 10 levels in total!
Controls: Only need a mouse, its a drag and drop game!
How To Play (also in game with image help):
Drag and drop bug you find hidden in the levels. Drop from the TOP - Bugs put in the jar from the side will not be counted. Only uncounted bugs can be removed from the jar.
If you drop a counted bug you cannot move it, if its in the way you'll have to restart the level.
Bug UI is not color specific, so if you see 3 different colored ladybugs or butterflies it all goes under the umbrella of ladybug or butterfly.
I personally played through the whole game, if you are positive you can't find all the bugs, or you get a glitch, click on the restart room button. Sometimes Z-ordering breaks and puts a bug object under other ones making it invisible.

The level with the dark purple flower background was my favorite. loved the art and game. I did have a couple moments of wait wheres that last one. Usually hiding in the corner. great job!
